principal and interest on such bonds shall be paid primarily from the taxes
levied within the Rockville Fire Area pursuant to Chapter 39, Mont-
gomery County Code 1965.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect on the 76th day following its
enactment.

An Act authorizing the issuance of bonds of Montgomery County,
Maryland, in the principal amount not exceeding $200,000 upon its full
faith and credit for the construction of a fire engine house within the
Cabin John Park Fire Area as the boundaries are defined by Chapter
30, Montgomery County Code 1965, prescribing the terms and condi-
tions, by reference, upon which said bonds shall be issued and deliv-
ered and other incidental details with respect thereto; providing for
the levy of unlimited ad valorem taxes for the payment of the prin-
cipal and interest thereof, and providing that the principal and in-
terest may be paid primarily from proceeds of the fire area tax levied
under the provisions of the said Chapter 30, with such other terms
and conditions as the County Council may determine by resolution.
Be It Enacted by the County Council for Montgomery County,
Maryland, that—
Section 1. Montgomery County, Maryland, is hereby authorized at
any time, and from time to time, upon its full faith and credit to borrow
money and incur indebtedness in a total amount not exceeding $200,000
for financing the construction of a fire engine house within the boundaries
of the Cabin John Park Fire Area as defined by Chapter 30, Montgomery
County Code 1965, for the use of the Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire
Department, Inc., or its successor, including the development of the site
therefor, the architectural and engineering services incident thereto and
the acquisition and installation of necessary permanent furnishings, fixed
permanent equipment and fire fighting equipment therefor. The proceeds
from said bonds may be applied to the payment of the first six months'
interest on said bonds.
Section 2. Sections 2-111 through 2-119 of the Montgomery County
Code 1965 and each and every part of such sections, excepting therefrom
only subsections (a), (b), and (d) of Section 2-111, be and they are
hereby incorporated in this Act, by reference, as a part hereof, it being the
intention of the County Council that said sections shall be applicable in
all respects to the borrowing of money, the issuance of bonds, the applica-
tion of the proceeds of such bonds, and the levy of unlimited ad valorem
taxes for the payment of the principal and interest of the bonds author-
ized by this Act.
Section 3. The powers granted by this Act are additional and cumu-
lative and the bonds authorized by this Act may be issued notwithstanding
that other bond acts or laws may provide for the issuance of other bonds
or the borrowing of money for the same or similar purposes on the same or
other terms and conditions.
