(33) Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school; four (4) years of experi-
ence as a journeyman plumber; or any equivalent combination of educa-
tion and experience; possession of a Maryland Motor Vehicle Operator's
License.
(34) Senior Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school, preferably successful com-
pletion of a two-year community or junior college program or two (2)
years of college training; six (6) years of experience as a journeyman or
Master Plumber, preferably with two (2) years experience as a Plumbing
Inspector, and possession of a current journeyman or Master Plumber's
license from the State of Maryland; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience. Possession of a Maryland Motor Vehicle Oper-
ator's License.
(35) Chief Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school or vocational school and
eight (8) years of experience as a journeyman or Master Plumber, com-
bined with experience in the inspection of plumbing plans and installation
projects, two (2) years of which shall have been at the level of Senior
Plumbing Inspector; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.
(36) Deputy Chief, Inspections and Permits
Graduation from a recognized high school, preferably two (2) years
of college or university study in structural engineering or design, ten (10)
years experience in building construction field, two (2) years of which
shall have been responsible experience in building construction work on
the level of Deputy Chief; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.
(37) Chief, Inspections and Permits
[Possession of a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree and eligible
for or in possession of a State of Maryland and Professional Engineer's
License; ten (10) years responsible experience in design and building
construction; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.]
Graduation from a college or university of recognized standing, seven
(7) years of experience in building construction, preferably two (2) years
in a responsible supervisory or administrative capacity, or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
(38) Zoning Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school and three (3) years ex-
perience in public contact work, preferably supplemented by additional
courses in planning or related field; or any equivalent combination of
experience and training.
(39) Zoning Enforcement Officer
Graduation from accredited college or university, plus three (3) years
of experience in planning or zoning work, or graduation from a recognized
high school plus seven (7) years experience in zoning or related fields;
college degree in planning or related field; plus three (3) years experience
