tion 74-9(g) of the Prince George's County Code (1963 edition as
amended).
Whereas, the Charter of the City of Takoma Park was amended by
the adoption of Section 49-7(1) of the Montgomery County Code (1965
edition as amended) and Section 74-9(1) of the Prince George's County
Code (1963 edition as amended) which adequately provides for the issu-
ance and sale of bonds or notes of the City of Takoma Park and which super-
seded the provisions of Section 49-7(g) of the Montgomery County Code
(1965 edition as amended) and Section 74-9(g) of the Prince George's
County Code (1963 edition as amended) thereby making obsolete the said
Section 49-7(g) of the Montgomery County Code (1965 edition as
amended) and said Section 74-9(g) of the Prince George's County Code
(1963 edition as amended).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAKOMA PARK, MARYLAND,
Section 1. THAT Section 49-7(g) of the Montgomery County Code
(1965 edition as amended) and Section 74-9(g) of the Prince George's
County Code (1963 edition as amended) be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and rescinded in its entirety.
This is hereby certified to be a true and correct copy of Ordinance
No. 2133 adopted by the Mayor and City Council of Takoma Park, Mary-
land on November 9, 1970.

Resolution
Whereas a Petition has been presented to the Mayor and Council of
the City of Taneytown to enlarge the corporate boundaries of said City by
the annexation of a parcel of land contiguous to and adjoining the existing
corporate boundaries of said City; and
Whereas the Mayor and Council have caused to be made a verification
of the signatures upon said Petition and have ascertained that the persons
signing the Petition represent at least twenty-five per cent (25%) of the
persons who reside in the area to be annexed and who are registered voters
in County elections in the precinct in which the territory to be annexed
is located, and the owners of at least twenty-five per cent (25%) of the
assessed valuation of the real property located in the area to be annexed;
IT IS RESOLVED, THEREFORE by the Mayor and Council of the
City of Taneytown that the following parcel of land shall be annexed to
the City of Taneytown and be and become a part thereof:
All of the following tracts or parcels of land situate South of the
present corporate limits of the Town of Taneytown, in the Taneytown
Election District of Carroll County, Maryland, and more particularly
described as follows:
