Whereas, no comprehensive study of these problems has yet been
undertaken; and

Whereas, such a study is essential for both the successful opera-
tion of the Airport and for the welfare of Anne Arundel County;
now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That a Commission
be appointed by the President of the Senate of
Maryland and the
Speaker of the House of Delegates of Maryland, for the purpose of
studying; THE JOINT BUDGET AND AUDIT COMMITTEE OF
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IS REQUESTED TO STUDY;

(1)  The need for access roads to and from the Airport within a
reasonable area surrounding it.

(2)  The need for increased police services to adequately meet the
needs for police protection at the Airport and surrounding area.

(3)  The lack of ambulance facilities.

(4)  The need for increased fire protection at the Airport, with
special emphasis on the many types of fire-fighting equipment re-
quired by the airport but not normally used by fire departments at
large; and be it further

Resolved, That the recommendations of this Commission THE
COMMITTEE be reported not later than November 1, 1971 to the
Governor, the Department of Transportation, the County Executive
and County Council of Anne Arundel County, the President of the
Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Delegates.

(Senate Joint Resolution 92)

Senate Joint Resolution requesting the Legislative Council to conduct
a comprehensive study of community antenna television including
but not limited to its relation to the State, county and municipal
levels of government.

Whereas, Community antenna television is being introduced at an
unprecedented pace in the State of Maryland;

Whereas, Community antenna television will be of interest to the
State, county and municipal governments for many future years;

Whereas, Community antenna television is a modern development
offering significant communication advantages to the citizens of
Maryland;

Whereas, Community antenna television may have many applica-
tions to State, county and municipal government unknown to many
officials in those levels of government;

Whereas, Cooperation between the State, county and municipal
governments in regard to community antenna television is highly
