THE ASSOCIATE COMMISSIONERS OF THE WORKMEN'S
COMPENSATION COMMISSION SHALL, DURING THE PERIOD
THEY SERVE AS ASSOCIATE COMMISSIONERS, RECEIVE
AN ANNUAL SALARY EQUIVALENT TO THE ANNUAL
SALARY THEN PAYABLE TO AN ASSOCIATE DISTRICT
COURT JUDGE. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE WORKMEN'S
COMPENSATION COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE ONE THOU-
SAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) IN ADDITION TO THE SALARY
PAID TO THE ASSOCIATE COMMISSIONERS.
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION
COMMISSION OF MARYLAND SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY
OF TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($24,000) PER
ANNUM AND EACH OF THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE
COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY OF TWENTY-
THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($23,000) PER ANNUM.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 706
(House Bill 554)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5(E),
item 13, of Chapter 159 of the Acts of 1964, and Section 5(G),
item 15, of Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1966, and Section 5(E),
item 10, of Chapter 759 of the Acts of 1967, and Section 5(G),
item 20, of Chapter 435 of the Acts of 1968, said Sections relat-
ing to the purpose for which the cash proceeds from the sale of
Certificates of Indebtedness authorized under the General Con-
struction Loan shall be used for Tuckahoe State Park; to provide
that the funds originally allocated for the purpose of the acquisi-
tion of land for Tuckahoe State Park WHICH ARE UN-
EXPENDED AND UNENCUMBERED shall now be used for the
purpose of "park development" for Tuckahoe State Park.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(E), item 13, of Chapter 159 of the Acts of 1964,
Section 5(G), item 15, of Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1966, and
Section 5(E), item 10 of Chapter 759 of the Acts of 1967, and Sec-
tion 5(G), item 20, of Chapter 435 of the Acts of 1968, relating
to the purpose for which the cash proceeds from the sale of Certifi-
cates of Indebtedness authorized under the General Construction
Loan shall be used for Tuckahoe State Park, be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
