Supplement), title "Public Information," to correct certain er-
roneous references therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 3(e) and 5 of Article 76A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Supplement), title "Public Information," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

(e) Any person denied the right to inspect any record covered
by this article may apply to the district court of the district wherein
the record is found for any order directing the custodian of such
record to show cause why he should not permit the inspection of
such record.

5.

Any person who wilfully and knowingly violates the provisions of
this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars
($100.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 612
(House Bill 1284)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 1(g),
3(c), 4(d), 12 and 13 of Article 75A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Supplement), title "Public Accountancy," to cor-
rect certain erroneous language and references therein AND TO
ADD CERTAIN LANGUAGE WHICH WAS INADVERTENTLY
REPEALED.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1(g), 3(c), 4(d), 12 and 13 of Article 75A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Supplement), title "Public Ac-
countancy," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

1.

(g) The exercise or performance of all powers, authority, duties
and functions vested in the [Commissioner] Board by the provisions
of this subtitle, shall be subject to the power and authority of the
Secretary of Licensing and Regulation as set forth in Article 41 of
this Code, or elsewhere in the laws of this State.
