The Administration may publish copies of the Motor Vehicle Laws
and related laws and Rules and Regulations promulgated thereunder
which shall be available upon request, and the Administration shall
fix a price covering the publication and distribution thereof which
shall not exceed the cost of preparation, publication and mailing.
Copies of such laws and rules and regulations may be furnished
free of charge to law enforcement agencies and the courts of this
State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 683)
AN ACT to add new Section 64 to Article 77A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Higher Educa-
tion," subtitle "Scholarships," to follow immediately after Section
63 thereof, to provide for scholarships for children of volunteer
firemen killed in line of duty, and to provide for the amount of
scholarship and how administered.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 64 be and it is hereby added to Article 77A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title
"Higher Education," subtitle "Scholarships," to follow immediately
after Section 63 thereof, and to read as follows:
64.
(a) Any child between the ages of sixteen and twenty-three
of any person who was a volunteer fireman and who was killed in
the line of duty as a volunteer fireman, if the volunteer fireman
was a resident of the State at the time he was killed, shall receive
upon application to the State Scholarship Board, State aid for tuition,
matriculation fees, board, room rent, books and supplies for the
child attending any accredited school of higher education in Maryland.
(b) The amount of aid granted shall not exceed five hundred
dollars per year for each applicant, and shall be paid to the institu-
tion on vouchers approved by the State Scholarship Board.
(c) The State Scholarship Board may adopt and promulgate
rules and regulations as reasonable and necessary for the administra-
tion of this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall apply only
to students applying for aid under this Act beginning with the
scholastic year 1971-1972 and thereafter.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.
