(b) In addition to the foregoing facilities, other facilities may-
be brought within the jurisdiction of the Commissioner as they are
built or transferred to his jurisdiction.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 5(a) (16)
and 24 of Article 43C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Supplement), title "Maryland Health and Higher Educational
Facilities Authority," to correct certain errors therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 5 (a) (16) and 24 of Article 43C of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1970 Supplement), title "Maryland Health and Higher
Educational Facilities Authority," be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) (16) Do all acts and things necessary or convenient to carry
out the powers expressly granted in this [title] article, provided,
however, that in all matters concerning the internal administrative
functions of the Authority the purchasing procedures of the State
relating to office space, supplies, facilities, materials, equipment, and
professional services shall be followed.

24.

The provisions of this [title] article are severable, and if any of
its provisions are held unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, the decision of such court shall not affect or impair
any of the remaining provisions.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.
