CHAPTER 544
(House Bill 582)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9 of
Article 75½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replace-
ment Volume and 1970 Supplement), title "Professional Engineers
and Land Surveyors," removing the obsolete restriction on the
Comptroller in disbursing monies from the special fund of the
Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional
Land Surveyors.
Whereas, Chapter 662 of the Acts of 1970 removed the authoriza-
tion of a special fund account for the Board of Registration of
Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors and pro-
vided that any balance in the special fund for the Board be paid
over to the general fund of the State; and

provides guidelines to the Comptroller in disbursing monies from the
now non-existent special fund of the Board; and

lines to the Comptroller in disbursing monies from the general fund
of the State for the Board, the portion of Section 9 to be repealed
is both obsolete and in. conflict with the remaining portions of Sec-
tion 9; therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9 of Article 75½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Replacement Volume and 1970 Supplement), title "Professional
Engineers and Land Surveyors," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

the Comptroller only pursuant to an appropriation made in accordance
