AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 318E of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume) (1970 Supplement), title "Licenses," "HEALTH," sub-
title "State Board of Barber Examiners," to provide for fees to be
paid the State Board of Barber Examiners for ISSUANCE AND
issuance and renewal of Master Barber's licenses.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 318E of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume) (1970 Supplement), title "Licenses,"
"HEALTH," subtitle "State Board of Barber Examiners," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
318E.
Any person who has completed eighteen months work as a grad-
uate journeyman may make application to the Board of Examiners
for a license as a master barber. He shall pay a fee for examination
of twenty dollars ($20.00) and upon passing the examination shall be
entitled without limitation to do barbering work under this subtitle.
He shall pay an initial fee of ten dollars ($10.00) to the Board and
receive a master barber's license. Said AND RECEIVE A MASTER
BARBER'S LICENSE, WHICH IS . HE SHALL PAY AN ISSU-
ANCE FEE OF TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) TO THE BOARD AND
RECEIVE A MASTER BARBER'S LICENSE VALID FOR ONE
YEAR AND THE license may be renewed every year and each
applicant shall pay ten dollars ($10.00) to the Board as a renewal
fee.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 223 (a),
(b), (c), (d) and (e) and Sections 230 (a) and (b) of Article 56 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume, 1970
Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Real Estate Brokers,"
providing for registration and expiration of all licenses issued by
the Real Estate Commission to be on a biennial basis and amending
the license fees accordingly; increasing the fees for taking any
written examination in order to be a real estate broker, and the
fees for each additional office or place of business; and providing
for the amount of payment of additional fees for failure to renew a
license to be based on the biennial license fee.
