90) Murdock should seem meet and Expedient Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said George Scott for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof the said George Scott doth hereby Acknowledge Hath Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Assigns and Transferred and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain and Sell Alien Assign and Transferr unto the said William Murdock his Heirs and Assigns Executors and Administrators three hundred Acres of Land being one half of a Tract of Land taken up in Partnership between the said George Scott and Benjamin Young Esquire Situate lying and being with the Appurtenances near Sincear Branch in Frederick County and also two hundred Acres of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Hermitage Situate lying and being with the Appurtenances on Rock Creek in Frederick County and also one hundred Acres of Land called Darnalls Grove lying and being with the Appurtenances in Prince Georges County and also one hundred Acres of Land called Greens Clift Scituate lying and being with the Appurtenances in Prince Georges County and also fifty Acres of Land called Billingley Point Situate lying and being with the Appurtenances in Prince Georges County and also a Lott in the Town of Bladensberg in Prince Georges County together with the House thereon Sixteen feet by twenty four and also all the other Improvements thereon together with all and Singular the Improvements and Appurtenances to all and every the before mentioned Parts Parcels or Tracts of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders thereof and all the Estate Right Title and Interest of him the said George Scott of in and to the same and every of them and every part and parcel of the same and every of them To have and to hold all and Singular the afsd hereby Granted and Bargained or mentioned to be Granted & Bargained Premisses with all and every of their Appurtenances unto the said William Murdock and his Heirs and Assigns forever and also all and every the Negroes following to wit Tom, Tomaster Nacey, Harry, little Harry, Cupid, Bess, Sarah, little Sarah, Sall, Frank, Hannah, Ruth Rose, Jeany, little Philis, Dick and Moll Provided always and it is hereby Covenanted Concluded and Agreed by and between the parties afsd and it is the true Intent and meaning of these Presents that all and every the afsd parts Parcels or Tracts of Land and all and every the Negroes afsd shall be put and set up to Sale to the highest Bidder in a Reasonable and Convenient time after the Execution of these Presents and that Public Notice be given of the time and place of the said Sale and that all the Money and Monies that shall or may arise from the Sale of the said Lands and Negroes shall be applyed to the discharge Payment and Satisfaction of the Debt due as afsd from the said George Scott to the said John Philpot by his Bond or Obligation bearing date as afsd and that the said John Philpot shall allow and give him the said George Scott Credit on his Bond or Obligation as afsd for all such Money or Monies that shall or may arise from the Sale afsd and be received by the said William Murdock and that after the Sale afsd and Receipt of the Money or Monies that shall or may arise therefrom as afsd that the Bond or Obligation of him the said George Scott bearing date as afsd be given up to the said George Scott upon his the said George Scotts entring into Passing or Giving his Bond or Obligation to the said John Philpot for the Ballance that upon a Settlement shall Appear to be due from him the said George Scott to the afsd John Philpot after the Sale and Receipt afsd and the Application of the Money or Monies ^as^ afsd that shall or may Arise therefrom (the said Bond (or) |
