66) and Directed to be Transported to some of his Majestys Colonies and Plantations in America for the following Terms to wit the said John Pox William Davies Edward Shores and John Waller for the Terms of their Respective Natural lives and all the other Persons above named for the Term of Seven Years And I do further Certify that all the said Persons above named were by the said Court Conveyed Transferred and made over to Andrew Ried and James Armour of London Merchants and their Assigns or the Assigns of one or them for the Respective Terms aforesaid in order to their being Transported accordingly Given under my hand the tenth day of March 1749 10 sides Recorded June 9.th 1750 Miles Man Ex.d Maryland fs This Indenture made the twenty Seventh day of Feb.ry in the Year of our 13 sd.s Lord God One Thousand seven hundred forty nine Between James Watson of Prince Georges County Planter of the one Part and James Russell of said County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that the said James Wattson for and in Consideration of the Sums of Ninety seven Pounds Seven Shillings and Six Pence Sterling Money fifty five Pounds fourteen Shillings and one Penny Curr.t Money and four Thousand Pounds of Crop Inspected Tobacco to him in hand Paid by the said James Russell before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof ^he^ the said James Wattson doth acknowledge and thereof and from every penny thereof doth Acquit Exonerate and discharge the said James Russell his Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these Presents Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Confirmed and made Over and by these Presents doth for him and his Heirs give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe Confirm and make over unto him the said James Russell his Heirs and Assigns for Ever the following Tracts or Parcels of Land Viz.t All my half of a Tract of Land called and known by the Name of Cole Brooke the whole Tract Containing Six Hundred & Sixteen Acres by Patent bearing Date the Seventh Day of Decem One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty Eight the said Land Beginning at a Bounded Ash Tree the Original Beginning Tree of Poplar Hills standing in a Branch of a Creek called Aquasco Creek and on the West side of Patuxon River at the head of a Tract of Land formerly Granted to William Mills called Trenant and at the head of a Tract of Land formerly Granted to one Baker Brooke called Aquasco and Running thence North Seventy nine Degrees West Ninety Perches then South ten Degrees West three hundred and Eighty Perches then East by South four hundred and Eighty Perches then North two hundred and thirty eight Perches then West by North two hundred and thirty four Perches then South Eighty Perches then West ninety three Perches then North Sixty five Degrees West Ninety nine Perches then North Sixty one Perches then by a Streight line to the Beginning Tree Containing and now laid out for Six hundred & Sixteen Acres of Land more or less according to a Certificate of Resurvey thereof taken and returned into the Land Office bearing Date the thirty first day of March Seventeen hundred thirty Seven And also all my half of a certain Tract of Land called Forrest of Fancy the whole Containing One Hundred Eighty four Acres by Patent bearing Date the third Day of October seventeen hundred and thirty Beginning at a Bounded White Oak standing on the East side of a Branch of Zachlah and Running thence South and by East Sixty Eighty Perches then South and by West forty Perches then South fifty two Perches then South forty degrees East fifty Perches then North fifty two Degrees East One hundred and thirty Perches then North Eleven Degrees East One hundred and thirty nine Perches then North Eighty five Degrees West One hundred and Sixty six Perches then with a Streight Line to the first Bound Tree Containing and now laid out for One Hundred and Eighty four Acres of Land more or less and also another Tract or Parcel of Land called Weltshire Containing One Hundred Acres by Patent bearing Date the twenty sixth day of October (seventeen) |
