       26.th May 1752   Received of M.r John Ross the Sum of forty Pounds Currency being the
       Consideration Money within mentioned

       Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the

Ex.d This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of July in the Year of our Lord God One
       Thousand Seven hundred and fifty two Between Varick Whisler of Baltimore County Farmer
       on the one part and Charles Carroll of Annapolis Merchant on the other part Witnesseth
       that the said Verick Whisler for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seventy Pounds
       Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by him the said Charles Carroll the
       Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold
       Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell
       Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Plymouth Beginning at a Bounded Spanish
       Oak standing by the side of a Branch called the Western Fork of Gunpowder it being
       the Beginning Tree of the Original Survey and running thence South Ten Degrees East
       eighteen Perches South thirty eight Degrees West Ninety eight Perches South East
       Seventy four Perches North fifty seven Degrees East two hundred and twenty two Perches
       South sixty eight Degrees and thirty Minutes East eighty five Perches South eighteen
       Degrees East Seventy three Perches South fifty five Degrees West Two hundred Perches
       South fifty Degrees East forty Perches North fifty five Degrees East One hundred and
       eighty three Perches North twenty five Degrees East thirty four Perches North eighteen
       Degrees West One hundred and fifteen Perches North eighty Degrees West eighty Perches
       North thirty five Degrees East One hundred Perches North sixty seven Degrees East
       Seventy six Perches North fifteen Degrees West Ninety Perches and thence with a streight
       line to the beginning Containing three hundred and fifty Acres as by the Patent
       thereof Granted to him the said Verick Whisler bearing date the fifth day of April
       One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty one Together with all the Buildings Fencings
       Improvements and Appurtenances thereon and thereto belonging and Appertaining To have
       and to hold the said Tract of Land called Plymouth with it's Appurts unto him the said
       Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns forever to his and their proper Use and Behoof & to no
       other use meaning or Intent whatsoever   Provided always & the true intent & meaning
       of these Presents is That in Case the said Verick Whistler shall and do well and truly
       pay or cause to be paid unto him the said Charles Carroll his Exors or Adm.rs at his
       Dwelling House in Annapolis at or upon the Sixteenth day of July which shall be in
       the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven hundred fifty and three the Just and full
       Sum of Seventy Pounds Current Money of Maryland with the Lawfull Interest thereof
       that then and in such Case the foregoing Deed of Bargain and Sale to be Void and
       to no Effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and Virtue In Witness
