       William Cumming Jun.r            Power of Attorney was thus Endorst
       James Craagh                         (Viz)

       March 27.th 1747 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Mess.rs Alexander
       and William Cummings two of the subscribing Evidences to the w.thin
       Power of Attorney and made Oath on the holy Evangelists of
       Almighty God that they saw Brian Philpot Seal and deliver
       the within Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed

Ex.d On the twenty seventh Day of February in the Year of our Lord one Thousand
       Seven Hundred and Forty five & in the Nineteenth Year of the Re^i^gn of
       our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain
       France and Ireland, King Defender of the faith & so forth Before
       me William Tudman Notary & Tabellion Publick, Dwelling in
       London duly Admitted & sworn & Witnesses Personally Appeared Mess.rs
       Jasper Mauduit, Israel Mauduit and Thomas Wright of London
       Merchants & Copartners, Who Declared to have made Ordained
       Constituted Authorized and appointed and by these presents do
       make ordain Constitute Authorize and appoint William Mauduit
       of the Province of Maryland at Present in London
       Merchant their true and Lawfull Attorney Giving and
       hereby Granting unto their said Attorney full Power and Lawfull Authority
       for them the said Constituants in their or either of their Names and for
       their or either ^of their^ Use and Uses to Ask Demand Levy Sue for and by all
       Lawfull ways and Means Recover and Receive of and from all and
       every or any Person or Persons whatsoever whom it may or shall
       Concern Inhabiting or being in the Provinces of Maryland or any
       part or pleace in North America all such Sum and Sums of money Goods
       Wares Merchandize Effects Estate and things whatsoever which now
       are or shall or may hereafter be due owing Payable belonging or in  
       anywise Appertaining unto them the said Constituants or any or either
