       On the Back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Endorst (Viz.t)
       March 22 1742   Then Came George Steuart Chyrurgion and
       James Johnson Merch.t before us two of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court and Severally made Oath that they saw within
       bounden Daniel Dulany Benj.a Tasker & Levin Gale Execute the
       within written Bond                                               Robert Gordon

       To the Clerk of the Provincial Court You are hereby
       Required immediately to Record in the Provincial Land
       Records the within Bond together with the above written   B Young
       Indorsement                                                                  Robert Gordon
5 1/2   Recorded the 22.d Day of March 1742                     B Young

Ex.d    Know all men by these Presents That We Levin Gale
       Judge and Register of the Land office of Maryland Daniel Dulany
       of Ann Arundel County Esq.r and George Steuart of the same County
       Chyrurgeon are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the
       Lord Proprietary of this Province of Maryland in the full and Just
       sum of one Thousand pounds Currency to be paid ^to the said^ Right Honourable
       the Lord Propry And his Successors to which payment well and truly
       to be made We and every of us hereby bind our Selves and every of us our
       and every of our Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns Jointly
       and Severally firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seald and dated
       this Twenty first day of March 1742
      
          The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden
       Levin Gale whilst he Shall Continue in the Office of Judge and Register in and
       of the Land Office Shall at his Own proper Cost and Charge find a Supply of
       good and Sufficient Record Books Necessary for the Entring up of all Matters
       and things Relating to such Land Office and Shall and will make or Cause
       to be made true Legal and perfect Records and Entries according to the
       truth and nature of the Matter or Thing requiring to be entered or recorded
       and Shall Duly and Carefully look after sustain preserve Repair
       and maintain all the Several Books papers and Records now being
       and remaining in the said Office as also all those that from time to time
