       This Indenture tripartite ^made^ the nineteenth
                               Day of July in the Year
       of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and fourty two Between
       Melchisedeck Murray of Ann Arundel County Planter of the
       first Part William Govane of the said County Gentleman of the
       second Part and Thomas Hughes of Ann Arundell County af.d
       Planter of the third Part Whereas a common Recovery was had
       and Suffered at a Provincial Court held at Annapolis the twentieth
       day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hund
       and fourty before Levin Gale Esquire Chief Justice and his
       Associates Justices of the same Court of a Tract of Plantable Land
       in the said County called Duck Cove containing Three hundred and
       fifty Acres with the Appurtenances wherein the Said William
       Govane was Demandant and the said Thomas Hughes was
       Tenant who Vouched to Warranty the said Melchisedeck
       Murray and he the common Vouchee and Whereupon a Writ
       of Seisin hath been Issued and Executed as by the Record and
       Process of the said Recovery remaining in the Provincial Court
       may appear which same recovery was had to the End and Purpose
       that the Said Mechisedeck Murray might be Enabled to Convey
       unto the said Thomas Hughes his heirs and Assigns forever an Estate
       of Inheritance in fee Simple of in and to the said Three hundred
       fifty Acres of Land with the appurtenances to the Use of him the said
       Thomas Hughes his Heirs and Assigns forever and to no other
       Use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that the said Melchisedeck Murray for and in
       consideration of Fifty Pounds Sterling as also the sum of Thirty
       five Pounds Currency to him in hand Paid by the said Thomas
       Hughes the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Given
       Granted Bargained sold Made Over and confirmed and by these
