(5) x.d   This Indenture made the Twenty Ninth day of June
             Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Thirty One Between
             William Hammond of Baltemore County Gentleman of the
             one part and William Hunt of London Merchant of the
             other part Whereas the Said William Hammond hath requested
             the Said William Hunt to advance the sume of
             one hundred and Fifty pounds for the said Will.m Hammond
             Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the Said
             William Hammond for and in Consideration of the
             said sume of one hundred and fifty pounds sterl to be
             so advanced Hath Bargained and Sold and by these
             presents Doth Bargain and Sell unto the Said William
             Hunt all those Severall Tracts or parcells of Land Lying
             in Baltemore County vizt one Tract Called the Plains of
             Paran Containing by patent Two hundred acres the
             other Tract Called Paran Containing by Pattent One hundred
             and fifty acres one other Tract Called Hammakleketh
             containing Two hundred acres and One Moyety of a Tract
             of Land Called Cromwells Chance the whole Containing three
             Hundred and five acres sold and Conveyed by Thomas
             Cromwell to the said William Hammond with all Buildings
             Improvements profits & advantages and all and Singular
             their and every of their appurtenances To have and
             To hold to him the Said William Hunt heir heirs and
             assignes for Ever to his and their own proper use and
             Behoof and to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever
             And the Said William Hammond for himselfe and
             his heirs Doth Covenant and Agree to and with the said
             William Hunt his heirs and assignes that he the Said
             William Hammond at the Time of the Ensealing & Delivery
             of these Presents is seized of an Indefeasable Estate of
             Inheritance in Fee simple of and in the said several
             Tracts of Land and Every of them with their & Every of
             their appurtenances And that he the said William
             Hammond and his heirs the same Tracts of Land & Every
             of them with their and every of their appurtenances
             To the said William Hunt his heirs and assignes for Ever
             against all Persons Claims Incumberances whatsoever
             Will Warrant and Defend the Rents & Services to the
             Lord Proprietary to grow and arise due onely Excepted
