(139) or Required by the said Charles Carroll his heirs or Assigns or his or their Councill Learned in the Law for the better assurance & Confirmation of the Bargained Premisses to him & them In Witness whereof the said Daniel Carroll and Anne his wife to these Presents have sett their hands & seals the Day & Year first above Written Sealed and Deliverd Dan Carroll seal In the presence of Us Ann Carroll seal Cha Darnall 1732 Nicholas Brooke On the Back of the foregoing Instrument was written as follows viz.t Memorandum That on the 8.th day of November Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and thirty two the within named Daniel Carroll & Ann his Wife Acknowledged the within Deed according to Act of Assembly before me the subscriber being one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court of Maryland And the said Anne being privately examined a part from her said Husband Declared that she Voluntarily & freely became a party to the within deed and Relinquished all her Right Title Interest and Estate therein and the Reversion & Remainder Reversions & Remainders thereof without any Coercion of her husband or fear or apprehension of his Displeasure to the within named Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assignes forever And desired that this her acknowledgment might be Recorded Charles Hammond November the 7.th 1732 Received of Charles Carroll Esq.r five hundred pounds sterl the Consideration within mentioned £ 500 Dan Carroll Witnesses Present Ann Carroll Chales Daniel 1732 Nicholas Brooke Recorded 2.d May 1733 7 sides |
