(515) Towell of the Value of One shilling money
aforesaid and four pounds of Clayd Sugar of the Value of three shillings money aforesaid the Goods and Chattels of the aforesaid William Forrest in the said House then & there being found then & there feloniously & Burglariously Did steal take and Carry away against our peace Good Rule and Government whereof he was Convict Before Our Trusty and Welbeloved William Lock & Jn.o Smith Esq.rs Our Justices of Oyer and Terminer and Goal Delivery for Our Said County of Prince Georges and Grant unto him Our firm peace and will not that he suffer any Corporal Punishment therefore but that Nevertheless he shall stand and be in the same plight state & Condition to all Intents and Purposes as if the said Felony and Burglary whereof he the said negro Harry hath been Convict he hath been Convict had never been done or Committed Provided always and upon Condition that he the said Michael Taylor shall within six Months from the date hereof transport or Cause to be Transported the said Negro Harry Out of this Our Province any thing herein Contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding Witness Our Dear Brother Benedict Leonard Calvert Esq.r Governour and Commander in Chief in & over our said Province of Maryland this Eighteenth day of June in the seventeenth Year of Our Dominion &c Annoq Domini 1731 Jn.o Ross Cl Cour 5 sides Benedict Leon.d Calvert the Great Seale in Wax append x.d Maryland fs.t Charles Absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &r To all Our Bailiffs and good People to whom these Present shall Come Know ye (that) |
