(366) x.d  Maryland fs      This Indenture made the Seventh
                Day of February Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Twenty
                Nine Between the Rev.d William Cawthren of Baltemore
                County Clerk of the one part and Amos Woodward
                of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County Merch.t
                of the other part Witnesseth that the said Will.m Cawthren
                for and in Consideration of the sume of Twenty Nine
                pounds three shillings & Nine pence Sterl And one pound
                Twelve shillings & six pence Curr.t Money to him in hand
                paid by the said Amos Woodward the receipt whereof
                the said William Cawthren Doth hereby acknowledge
                Hath given granted bargained and Sold as by these
                presents ^he^ the said William Cawthren Doth give grant
                Bargain and sell unto the said Amos Woodward his heires
                & assignes all those two Lotts of Ground with the Houses
                thereon built and other the premisses thereto belonging
                Lying and Being in a Town Called Joppa in Baltemore County
                the One known & Distinguished by the Number (21)
                the first of which Lotts was by a Deed duly made Executed &
                Recorded for the Consideration in the said Deed Mentioned
                sold and Conveyed unto the said William Cawthren by a
                Certain Thomas White And the other Lott above Mentioned
                was by a Deed Duly made Executed and Recorded for the same
                Consideration in the said Mencond sold and Conveyed unto
                the said William Cawthren by a Certain Aquilla Paca as
                in by the aforesaid Two recited Deeds reffereance being thereunto
                had may More fully and at Large Appear To have
                and to hold the same two Lotts of Ground and Houses thereon
                Built with other the premisses thereto belonging unto
                the said Amos Woodward his heirs & assignes for Ever more
                To the only proper use and Behoofe of him the said Amos
                Woodward his heirs and assignes for ever & to no other
                use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said William
                Cawthren Doth by these presents for himselfe his heirs
                Executors and Administrators Covenant promise Grant &
                Agree to & with the said Amos Woodward his heirs & Assigns
                that he the said William Cawthren his heirs Executors and
                Administrators the said Two Lotts of Ground and Houses with
                other the premisses thereto belonging against all Manner
                of persons whatsoever will for ever by these presents
                Warrant and Defend And the said William Cawthren
                Doth by these presents further Covenant Promise Grant and
                Agree for himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrators
                To and with the said Amos Woodward his heirs & assignes
                that he the said William Cawthren and his heirs shall & will
                from time to time and at all times hereafter upon the
                                                                            (Reasonable)
