Know all Men by these Presents that I Thomas Denton of Warnell in the County of
Cumberland Gent have Constituted and Authorized Mary Vanswergen of S.t Marys in Maryland
in America to be my true and lawfull Attorney And for us & in my Name be these psents
put her as Such for me to Ask, Sue for, levy and Receive from the Heirs of her late
husband M.r Vanswergen All and Every Such Sum or Sumes of Money Debts & Demands
whatsoever that shall Appear to be Due to Me from the Said M.r Vanswergen Giving and
Granting unto my Said Attorney My full power and Authority in and About the premises
And on the Receipt of Any Such Debt or Debts or Sums of Money Acquittances or other
Discharges for Me and in My Name to Make Seal & Deliver All & Every Such Act and
Acts Thing and Things Device and Devices in the Law for the recovery of All and Every Such
Debt or Debts or Sums of Money as afd fro me and in my Name to Do Execute & perform
as fully largely and Amply in Every respect to All Intents and purposes as if I my
selfe might or Could Do if personally present Ratifying and Confirming whatsoever my
Said Attorney shall lawfully Do in or about the Execution of the Premises by Vertue of
these presents In Wittness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Twentyth
Ninth Day of January In the Ninth year of the Reign of King George and in the year of Our
Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Two
