The County Commissioners of Somerset County shall furnish all
food, fuel and light needed for the county jail at Princess Anne
upon the presentation of itemized statements therefor endorsed by
the jailer [.] but, in any event, the funds allocated for food shall
not exceed one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per day for each in-
mate.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 461 (a)
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1965 Edition,
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Harford County," subtitle "Pawnbrokers," as last amended
by Chapter 382 of the Acts of 1969, to require pawnbrokers to sub-
mit a daily list to the Sheriff of Harford County of those articles
bought, traded or pledged.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 461 (a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County," subtitle "Pawnbrokers,"
as added, last amended by Chapter 382 of the Acts of 1969, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
461.
(a) Each and every pawnbroker, doing business in Harford
County shall cause to be written in a legible and accurate manner
on forms supplied by the Sheriff of Harford County, a list of
articles [taken on pledge] bought, traded or pledged and to for-
ward the same daily to the Sheriff of Harford County. The above
reports made to the Sheriff shall be open to the inspection of such
persons as, in the discretion of the said Sheriff, may be regarded
as having an interest in the same. In addition, pursuant to
standards and forms established by the Sheriff, all pawnbrokers shall
use a uniform bill of sale, ticket or receipt for all items sold or taken
on pledge by them.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
