ment), title "Juries," to increase the amount a juror shall receive
per day in Anne Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 (a) of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Supplement), title "Juries," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

19. Pay and mileage.

(a) Jurors in Washington County shall receive eight dollars per
day and a reasonable amount, in the discretion of the County Com-
missioners for each mile over five miles in going to and returning
from court; in Queen Anne's and Caroline counties, seven dollars
and fifty cents per day; in [Anne Arundel,] Harford, Kent, Mont-
gomery, Somerset and Talbot counties, and in Baltimore City, ten
dollars per day, and in Anne Arundel County, fifteen dollars per
day,
and no extra allowance shall be given either for mileage or
overtime in Anne Arundel, Harford, Montgomery, Somerset and
Talbot counties and in Baltimore City; in Carroll County, eight
dollars per day; and in all other counties, except Allegany, Balti-
more, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Prince
George's, St. Mary's and Wicomico counties, five dollars per day for
each and every day they shall attend the several courts of this State
as jurors and fifteen cents for each mile over five miles for going
to and returning from the court, once in each term, to be paid by
the counties, respectively, in which courts are held. In Baltimore
County, jurors shall receive per diem compensation in such amount
as shall be set, from time to time, by the judges of the Circuit
Court of Baltimore County. Jurors in Frederick County shall receive
at least eight dollars per day for each and every day they shall at-
tend the Circuit Court of Frederick County as jurors and a reason-
able amount in the discretion of the County Commissioners, for each
mile going to and returning from the court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 315

(Senate Bill 795)

AN ACT to add new Section 90A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Harford County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County,"
subtitle "Auctioneers," to follow immediately after Section 90
thereof, as added, last amended by Chapter 87 of the Acts of
1969; to provide a schedule of auctioneer fees to be a part of
expenses incurred at a sale under decree of an order of court
or other judicial sale of real or leasehold.
