Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, a municipal cor-
poration of the State of Maryland, is hereby authorized and em-
powered to acquire for public highway purposes, by gift, purchase,
or condemnation, the fee simple interest or interests therein of any
kind, in and to the property situate in the 6B Election District of
Anne Arundel County, described as follows:
BEGINNING for the same at the point formed by the intersec-
tion of the south side of Ordnance Road and the southwest boundary
line of Baltimore City established 1918 and running thence bind-
ing on the south and southeast sides of said Ordnance Road the
two following courses and distances; namely, south 83 degrees 45
minutes 25 seconds west 17 feet, more or less, and south 19 degrees
29 minutes 30 seconds west 201.28 feet to the southwest outline of
the property now or formerly owned by Nelson Neuman et al;
thence binding on the southwest outline of said property, south 41
degrees 48 minutes 22 seconds east 367.93 feet to intersect the
west outline of the property now or formerly owned by Robert Lee
Brewis; thence binding on the west outline of last said property
south 10 degrees 56 minutes 55 seconds west 240 feet, more or less,
to intersect the north outline of the Baltimore Harbor Outer Tun-
nel Right of Way, as shown on the State Roads Commission of
Maryland Plat No. 38358; thence binding on the north outline of
said Baltimore Harbor Outer Tunnel Right of Way, easterly by a
line curving to the right with a radius of 1999.86 feet the distance
of 467 feet, more or less, to intersect the aforesaid southwest bound-
ary line of Baltimore City and thence binding on said southwest
boundary line of Baltimore City the two following courses and dis-
tances; namely, north 67 degrees 37 minutes 34 seconds west 69.41
feet and north 39 degrees 35 minutes 55 seconds west 815 feet, more
or less, to the place of beginning.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the proceedings for
the acquisition by condemnation of the property or interests therein
and the rights of all parties interested or affected thereby shall be
regulated by and be in accordance with the provisions of Article
33A of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of Maryland
and any and all amendments thereto.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
