(k) In Frederick County, the license fees for dogs, including
the fee for any kennel license, shall be determined by the County
Commissioners of the County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

(House Bill 648)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 433 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County (1957 Edition,
being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Washington County," subtitle "Jurors," amending the local
laws of Washington County concerning jurors in order to remove
an obsolete and inapplicable provision relating to the pay and
compensation of jurors.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 433 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington
County (1957 Edition, being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Washington County," subtitle "Jurors," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

The County Commissioners shall levy a sufficient sum, in advance,
to pay the jurors attending the Circuit Court, promptly at the close
of each jury term thereof. [Jurors shall receive Four ($4.00)
Dollars per day for each and every day they shall attend said Court,
in addition to mileage as now provided by law.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 504 and
505 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County (1957
Edition, being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Washington County," subtitle "Pawnbrokers,"
correcting an error and eliminating an obsolete provision in the
local laws of Washington County concerning pawnbrokers.
