intendent of Schools and in the office of the Secretary of State. The
State Superintendent of Schools shall publish all such contracts in
convenient form.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate pres-
ervation of the public health and safety, and having been passed by
a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of the members elected
to each of the two houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 260
(Senate Bill 91)

AN ACT to add new Section 35(b-l) to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Edu-
cation," subtitle "Chapter 4. County Boards of Education," to
follow immediately after Section 35(b) thereof, requiring each
member of a county board of education to be domiciled in the county
for which appointed and requiring that a member who removes
his domicile from the county loses membership on the board.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 35(b-l) be and it is hereby added to Article 77 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title
"Public Education," subtitle "Chapter 4. County Boards of Educa-
tion," to follow immediately after Section 35(b) thereof, and to read
as follows:

35.

(b-1) Each member of the several county boards of education
shall be domiciled in the county for which appointed, and any mem-
ber of a board who does not continue his domicile in the county shall
at the time of removing his domicile from the county no longer be a
member of that board.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 261
(Senate Bill 99)

AN ACT to repeal Section 207 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title and subtitle
"Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Fraud—By Hirers," re-
pealing the crime and punishment therefor of failing to pay for
the use of a leased automobile.
