514                              Laws of Maryland                        Ch. 238

276 through 313D (relating to narcotics and other dangerous sub-
stances), AS THEY SHALL BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO
TIME, to those enumerated in Section 594B which provides for
an arrest on probable course CAUSE without a warrant, under
certain circumstances for the enumerated misdemeanor.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 594B(e) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Arrests," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

594B.

(e) The offenses referred to in subsection (d) of this section are:

(1) Those offenses specified in the following sections of Article
27, as they may be amended from time to time:

(i)    Section 8 (relating to burning barracks, cribs, hay, corn,
lumber, etc.; railway cars, watercraft, vehicles, etc.);

(ii) Section 11 (relating to setting fire while perpetrating
crime);

(iii) Section 36 (relating to carrying or wearing weapon);

(iv) Section 111 (relating to destroying, injuring, etc., property
of another);

(v) Section 297 (relating to possession of hypodermic syringes,
etc., restricted);

(vi) Section 341 (relating to stealing goods worth less than
$100.00);

(vii) Section 342 (relating to breaking into building with in-
tent to steal); [and]

(viii) The common-law crime of assault when committed with
intent to do great bodily harm [.]; and

(ix) Sections 276 through 313D (relating to drugs and other
dangerous substances).
AS THEY SHALL BE AMENDED FROM
TIME TO TIME.

(2)    Attempts to commit the offenses specified in the following
sections of Article 27 as they may be amended from time to time:

(i) Section 8 (relating to burning barracks, cribs, hay, corn,
lumber, etc.; railway cars, watercraft, vehicles, etc.);

(ii) Section 11 (relating to setting fire while perpetrating
crime);

(iii) Section 111 (relating to destroying, injuring, etc., property
of another);

(iv) Section 341 (relating to stealing goods worth less than
$100.00) ;

(v) Section 342 (relating to breaking into a building with intent
to steal) [.] ;
