CHAPTER 222
(House Bill 1286)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5(I)(2)
(c) of Chapter 435 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1968
to provide for a change to a project authorized in the General
Construction Loan of 1968 for renovation of a farm building to
be used as a vocational rehabilitation building.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(I)(2)(c) of Chapter 435 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1968 be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(c) Contingent upon and supplementary to federal
funds being made available to Department of
Mental Hygiene for [construction of an addition
to the Vocational Rehabilitation Building] reno-
vation of a farm building to be used as a voca-
tional rehabilitation building, including air con-
ditioning :

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 49 (a) of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "General Pro-
visions on Issue of Licenses," to allow tentative approval of
liquor license prior to completion of building in Howard County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 49 (a) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) In Charles [County] and Howard Counties, when applica-
tion for a liquor license is made to sell alcoholic beverages in a build-
