(g) It shall be unlawful to shoot or shoot at any game bird,
game animal, fur-bearing animal, wild bird or wild quadruped from
an automobile or other vehicle or have in possession in or on an
automobile or other vehicle, a loaded shotgun or rifle containing any
ammunition in the magazine or chamber. It shall be unlawful to
shoot at any game bird, game animal, fur-bearing animal, wild bird,
or wild quadruped on, from or across any paved public highway or
the shoulder of said highway. It shall be unlawful to shoot from
any public highway in Kent County and Queen Anne's County or to
hunt from any public road within the boundaries of the Hanover
municipal water works property in Carroll County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

(House Bill 363)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, subsection (6)
of Section 478B OF ARTICLE 48A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title
"Insurance Code," subtitle "Maryland Property Insurance Avail-
ability Act," to redefine "Essential property insurance" and to add
vandalism and malicious mischief coverage to those types of insur-
ance subject to approval by the State Insurance Commissioner and
to delete vandalism and malicious mischief coverage as those types
of insurance subject to designation by the Secretary of the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (6) of Section 478B OF ARTICLE 48A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supple-
ment) , title "Insurance Code," subtitle "Maryland Property Insurance
Availability Act," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
478B.
(6) "Essential property insurance" means insurance against
direct loss to property as defined and limited in standard fire policies
and extended coverage endorsement thereon[,] and against the
perils of vandalism and malicious mischief, all as approved by the
Commissioner, and insurance for such types, classes and locations
of property against the perils of [vandalism, malicious mischief,]
burglary [,] or theft as the Secretary by rule shall designate. Such
insurance shall not include automobile insurance and shall not in-
clude insurance on such types of manufacturing risks as may be
excluded by the Commissioner.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
