the Board of County Commissioners of the respective counties and
the County Executive of Montgomery County
and it shall be the
duty of the County Commissioners of the respective counties to pass
said accounts as certified to them by said judges, or a majority
thereof; and it shall also be the duty of said County Commissioners
to levy and collect, for the use of the State's Attorneys of their
respective counties, the amounts of money so as aforesaid certified
by said judges, or a majority of them, to be properly chargeable by
said State's Attorneys, at the same time and in the same manner
that other county taxes are levied and collected; provided, that this
section shall not prevent the commissioners of any county from
allowing, in their discretion, a larger sum to the State's Attorney of
said county than the amount of the accounts so allowed and cer-
tified by said court or judges. This section shall not apply to Garrett
County, Allegany County, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County,
Worcester County, Prince George's County and, Calvert County, OR
MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

(p) Montgomery County.

(6) The salaries of the State's Attorney, the Deputy State's
Attorney, the Assistant State's Attorneys, the clerk and the special
investigator within the limits herein prescribed shall be included by
the State's Attorney in his annual budget submission to the County
[Council] Executive and shall be paid by the county. In addition to
the compensation provided for in this section, the State's Attorney,
for the operation of his office and the performance of his duties shall
be entitled to a reasonable expense allowance which shall be subject
to the approval of the County Council.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect on
December 7, 1970.

CHAPTER 168
(House Bill 358)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 132 (g)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1967 Re-
placement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Natural Re-
sources," subtitle "Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game
Animals," prohibiting certain manners of hunting and shooting of
game birds and game animals in Queen Anne's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 132(g) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, (1967 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title
"Natural Resources," subtitle "Upland and Migratory Game Birds
and Game Animals," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
