of not less than four nominees representing the poultry segment;
(3) one from a list of not less than two nominees representing the
livestock segment; (4) one from a list of not less than two nominees
representing the tobacco segment; (5) one from a list of not less
than two nominees representing the nursery segment; (6) one from
a list of not less than two nominees representing the horticulture
segment; (7) one from a list of not less than two nominees repre-
senting the field crops segment; (8) one from a list of not less than
two nominees representing the vegetable segment; (9) one from a
list of not less than two nominees of the veterinary profession;
(10) one from a list of not less than two nominees of the Maryland
State Grange; (11) one from a list of not less than two nominees of
the Maryland Farm Bureau; and (12) two without nomination ap-
pointed at large from services related to agriculture. No appointed
person shall serve for more than two consecutive terms, provided
that in the original appointment [two] five members should be ap-
pointed for a one-year term, [two] five for a two-year term, ana
[two] five for a three-year term, so that five new appointments
may be made to the Commission each year. New appointees shall
be made from nominees of the industry, profession or organization,
the term of the member representing which is expiring. The remain-
ing four members of the Commission shall be ex officio members as
provided for under Section 47 of this article.
Sec, 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 24 of
Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "General Provi-
sions," applying to Garrett County the general provisions regarding
publication of county expenses.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 24 of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Supplement), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "General
Provisions," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
24.
They shall make out and publish annually in at least two news-
papers published in their respective counties if there be two, a de-
tailed, minute and accurate statement of the expenses of their said
counties, specifying therein each particular item of expense, and for
what and to whom paid, and shall also deliver to the sheriff of their
respective counties as many copies of such statement as there are
election districts in the county, at least ten days before each general
