2-12.

(d)(l) Each board at the time precinct lines are created or
changed under the authority of any provision of law, shall have a
reasonable number of maps prepared showing the new precinct
lines and shall adopt a resolution describing the precinct lines. One
copy of each of the resolutions and of the maps shall be filed with
the clerk of the circuit court of the county or the clerk of the
Superior Court of Baltimore City, as the case may be, and the
[Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Election Laws.

(2) On or before January 1, 1968, each board shall file with the
[Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Election Laws
a map showing the boundaries of all election districts and precincts
within the county or Baltimore City, as the case may be.

4A-2.

(a)    Certificates of candidacy shall be filed under oath with the
[Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Election Laws
for the nomination of members of Congress or of candidates for
offices to be filled by the voters of the entire State or of any division
of a greater extent than one county. Certificates of candidacy for
the nomination of members of the State Senate shall also be filed
with the [Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Elec-
tion Laws.

(b)    Each candidate for nomination for judge of the circuit
court for a county, each candidate for nomination for Judge of the
Court of Special Appeals, and each candidate for nomination for
Judge of the Court of Appeals of Maryland shall file his certificate
under oath with the [Secretary of State] State Administrative
Board of Election Laws.
Each candidate for nomination for Judge
of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City shall file his certificate
under oath with the board in Baltimore City.

(c-1) Certificates of candidacy shall be filed under oath with
the [Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Election
Laws
for candidates for election as delegates to a national
convention.

4A-5.

In case of any vacancy which may exist in respect to a candidate
for any officer elected by the voters by reason of there being no
candidate of a political party to file for the same in the primary
election, the State central committee, or governing body, authorized
to fill such vacancy shall file the certificate of nomination with the
[Secretary of State] State Administrative Board of Election Laws,
or the board, as the case may be, not later than the tenth day after
the date on which candidates may withdraw their candidacy before
the primary election.

4A-6.

(a) Each candidate for nomination to public office at a primary
election shall pay the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25) for the county
or legislative district of Baltimore City in which his name appears
upon the ballot except as may be otherwise provided in this section.
