Transit District, out of such funds, as shall hereafter be made
available for the purposes specified herein, pursuant to action by the
General Assembly, shall repay to the annuity bond fund an amount
NOT TO EXCEED THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT of the grants
made hereunder, together with the interest allocable to the bonds
issued hereunder to provide the funds for making the grants. The
repayments shall be made in such manner and under such conditions
as shall be provided by law.

Sec. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July JUNE 1, 1970.

23 1(a), (c), 23-5(c), 23-6(a), (b), 23-7, 23-10, 23-11 (a), (b),
(c), 25-2, 26-2, 26-3(a), (b), (c), (e), 26-4(a), 26-11(a), (c), (d),
26-18(d), 27-11, 28-3(b), of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, (1967 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement),
title "Election Code", subtitles "State Administrative Board of
Election Laws", "Election Boards and Employees", "Certificate
of Candidacy", "Primary Elections", "Nomination by Primary
Meeting", "Nomination by Petition", "Certificates of Nomina-
tion", "Vacancies in Nominations", subtitle "In General", "Party
Governing Bodies", "Presidential Primaries and Conventions",
"Voting Machines", "Board of Canvassers", "Questions", "Mis-
cellaneous Provisions", "Fair Election Practices", "Absentee Vot-
ing" and "Uniform Act for Voting by Nonresidents in Presi-
dential Elections", to indicate that certain powers and duties
which were transferred to the State Administrative Board of
Election Laws on July 1, 1969 are no longer vested in the Secre-
tary of State.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 1A-1 (e) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Elec-
tion Code", subtitle "State Administrative Board of Election Laws",
be and it is hereby repealed, and that Sections 1A-1(f), 2-1(d),
2-12(d), 4A-2(a), (b), (c-1), 4A-5, 4A-6(a), (b), (c), (d),
4A-7(a), (b), 4A-8(b), (c), (d), 5-1, 6-l(b), 7-l(e), 8-l(a), 8-3,
8-4, 9-2, 11-1(d), 12-l(a)(l), 12-2(a)(2), 12-2(c), 12-3, 16-6(a),
(b), 16-7, 17-5(a), (c), 23-1(a), (c), 23 5(c), 23-6(a), (b), 23-7
23-10, 23-(a), (b), (c), 25-2, 26-2, 26-3(a), (b), (c), (e), 26-4(a),
26-11(a), (c), (d), 26-18(d), 27-11, and 28-3(b) of Article 33 of the
