(32)    Deputy Chief, Inspections and Permits

Graduation from a recognized high school, preferably two (2) years
of college or university study in structural engineering or design, ten (10)
years' experience in building construction field, two (2) years of which
shall have been responsible experience in building construction work on
the level of Deputy Chief; or any equivalent combination of education
and experience.

(33)    Chief, Inspections and Permits

Possession of a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree and eligible
for or in possession of a State of Maryland and Professional Engineer's
License; ten (10) years' responsible experience in design and building
construction; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

(34)    Zoning Inspector

Graduation from a recognized high school and three (3) years' ex-
perience in public contact work, preferably supplemented by additional
courses in planning or related field; or any equivalent combination of
experience and training.

(35)    Zoning Enforcement Officer

Graduation from accredited college or university, plus Masters Degree
in Planning or related field with no experience THREE (3) YEARS OF
EXPERIENCE IN PLANNING OR ZONING WORK, OR GRADUATION
FROM A RECOGNIZED HIGH SCHOOL PLUS SEVEN (7) YEARS'
EXPERIENCE IN ZONING OR RELATED FIELDS; college degree in
planning or related field, plus two (2) years' THREE (3) YEARS' ex-
perience in planning or zoning work; high school diploma plus six (6)
years' SEVEN (7) YEARS' experience in planning or zoning inspection;
or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

(36)    Draftsman

Graduation from a recognized high school plus one (1) year engineer-
ing design, preferably with courses in mechanical engineering or related
field; or one (1) year of an equivalent combination of experience and
training.

(37)    Senior Draftsman

Graduation from high school plus: two (2) years' engineering design
experience, preferably supplemented by college training in engineering or
related field; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

(38)    Engineering Technician

Graduation from high school plus: two (2) years of experience in
drafting or engineering work, preferably supplemented by additional
courses in Civil Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination
of experience and training.

(39)    Senior Engineering Technician

Graduation from high school plus: three (3) years' experience in
drafting or engineering work preferably supplemented by additional
courses in Civil Engineering or related field; or an equivalent combination
of experience and training.
