(24) Programmer
Graduation from an accredited college with major work in business
administration or public administration; preferably one (1) year of ex-
perience in data processing or experience as Associate Programmer; or
any equivalent combination of education and experience.
(25) Data Processing Manager
Graduation from a university or college of recognized standing; four
(4) years of progressively responsible experience in data processing, which
includes the analysis and development of systems, methods, and procedures
for conversion to computer processing techniques, two (2) years of which
must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or any equiva-
lent combination of education and experience.
(26) Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school and four (4) years' respon-
sible experience in building construction work; or any equivalent combina-
tion of education and experience.
(27) Senior Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school and six (6) years' responsi-
ble experience in building construction work, two of which shall have been
on the level of Building Inspector, preferably two (2) years of college or
university study in structural engineering or design; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
(28) Chief Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school, preferably two (2) years
of college or university study in structural engineering or design; eight
(8) years' responsible experience in building construction work on the level
of Senior Building Inspector; or any equivalent combination of education
and experience.
(29) Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school; four (4) years of ex-
perience as a journeyman plumber; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience; possession of a Maryland Motor Vehicle Opera-
tor's License.
(30) Senior Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school, preferably successful com-
pletion of a two-year community or junior college program or two (2)
years of college training; six (6) years of experience as a journeyman
or Master Plumber, preferably with two (2) years' experience as a Plumb-
ing Inspector, and possession of a current journeyman or Master Plumber's
license from the State of Maryland; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience. Possession of a Maryland Motor Vehicle Opera-
tor's License.
(31) Chief Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school or vocational school and
eight (8) years of experience as a journeyman or Master Plumber, com-
bined with experience in the inspection of plumbing plans and installation
projects, two (2) years of which shall have been at the level of Senior
Plumbing Inspector; or any equivalent combination of education and ex-
perience.
