An Act to cancel, rescind and repeal the authority to issue bonds
under Chapters 13, 14 and 15 of the Laws of Montgomery County,
Maryland, enacted at the Extra Legislative Session of May, 1968,
but only to the extent that such authority has not been exercised
prior to the effective date of this Act.

Be It Enacted by the County Council for Montgomery County, Maryland,
that—

Section 1. The authority to issue bonds under Chapters 13, 14 and
15 of the Laws of Montgomery County, Maryland, enacted by the County
Council for Montgomery County, Maryland, at its Extra Legislative Session
of May, 1968, be and the same is hereby canceled, rescinded and repealed,
but only to the extent that such authority has not been exercised prior
to the effective date of this Act.

Section 2. Nothing contained in this Act shall be construed as im-
pairing the validity of any proceeding or action taken or the validity of
any bonds issued prior to the effective date of this Act under the provisions
of the laws enumerated in Section 1 of this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect on the 76th day following its
enactment.

An Act, pursuant to Article 4, Section 403 of the Montgomery
County Charter, to prescribe the compensation of the members of the
County Personnel Board.

Be It Enacted by the County Council for Montgomery County, Mary-
land, that—

Section 1. The chairman of the County Personnel Board shall receive
an annual salary of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500). The
other two members of the Personnel Board shall receive an annual salary
of four thousand two hundred dollars ($4,200).

Section 2. This Act shall take effect on the 76th day following its
enactment.
