(Senate Bill 370)

AN ACT to add new Section 12(f) to Article 66B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (1967 Replacement Volume), (and 1969 Sup-
plement), title "Zoning and Planning," subtitle "Planning," sub-
heading "Title 1 Municipal Planning and Zoning Commission,"
to follow immediately after Section 12 (e) thereof, allowing for
an increase of membership of the Municipal Planning and Zoning
Council in Allegany County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 12 (f) be and it is hereby added to Article 66B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1967 Replacement Volume),
(and 1969 Supplement), title "Zoning and Planning," subtitle "Plan-
ning," subheading "Title 1 Municipal Planning and Zoning Com-
mission," to follow immediately after Section 12 (e) thereof, and
to read as follows:

12.

(f) Provided, however, that for Allegany County, the commission
may consist of seven members. The term of each member shall be five
years or until his successor takes office, except that the respective
terms of the sixth and seventh members first appointed may be less
than five years.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 40 (a)
and 40 (c) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1966
Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Corporations,"
subtitle "1. Stock Corporations," subheading "Capital Stock and
Stockholders," amending the corporation laws in order to change
the formula for the record date for the purpose of determining
stockholders for certain purposes.
