Liber E.O.C. No. 130, folio 75, etc., said beginning point also being
the beginning of a deed from Jesse L. Warfield and wife to Charles
L. Reifsnider, dated 9/9/1870 and recorded among said Land Records in
Liber J.B.B. No. 39, folio 69, and being within the City of Westminster,
running thence binding on the south side of said Colonial Avenue and on
part of the first line of said deed,
North 88 degrees 13 minutes 20 seconds East, 12.38 feet to the be-
ginning of the 2nd line of a deed from Charles H. Kolb and wife to
George E. Benson, dated 7/17/1918 and recorded among the said Land
Records in Liber E.O.C. No. 132, folio 434, etc., thence binding thereon,
as now surveyed,
South 01 degrees 16 minutes 40 seconds East, 277.04 feet crossing
the corporate limits of the City of Westminster to the northeast side
of a 16 foot alley and to the beginning of the 5th line of a deed from
Ralph S. Reifsnider and wife to Sherman E. Flanagan and wife, dated
9/29/1942, and recorded among the said Land Records of Carroll County
in Liber No. L.D.M. 179, folio 481, thence binding on said 5th or rear
line of the property known as #404 Westminster Road and continuing
to bind on the rear property lines of #406 thru #420 Westminster Road
and along the northeast side of said 16 foot alley, in all,
South 60 degrees 31 minutes 30 seconds East, 659.49 feet to the west
side of Poole Road, thence binding on the west side of Poole Road as
now surveyed,
South 08 degrees 24 minutes 10 seconds West, 304.67 feet to the
4th line of the deed first herein mentioned, from Jesse L. Warfield and
wife to Charles L. Reifsnider, thence binding thereon as now surveyed
and along the northerly outline of a subdivision plat, dated 11/7/1951
and recorded among said Land Records in Plat Book 3, folio 75,
North 85 degrees 42 minutes 00 seconds West, 530.42 feet to a stone
heretofore set at the end of said 4th line, thence binding on the 5th
line of said deed along the east side of said 12 foot alley and,
North 01 degrees 16 minutes 40 seconds West, 862.93 feet again
crossing the corporate limits of the City of Westminster to the place
of beginning, and containing 5.8723 acres, more or less.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That from and after the effec-
tive date of this Resolution all persons residing within the area to be
annexed, and the real property therein, shall be and become residents
of and real property within the City of Westminster and subject to
the provisions of the Charter of the City of Westminster and any amend-
ments thereto,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the real estate so annexed
shall become subject to the municipal property taxes, effective with the
levy of July 1, 1969.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this Resolution shall
become effective on the forty-sixth day following its enactment.
