2368 Municipal Charters
as Section 49-31ss, Montgomery County Code, 1960 (to follow immediately
after Section 49-31rr thereof) to provide for the enlarging of the cor-
porate boundaries of the City of Rockville, be and the same is hereby
adopted to become effective on the 6th day of March, 1969.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Mayor and Council of Rockville,
Maryland, that the boundaries of the City of Rockville are hereby extended
to include the following area, which is hereby added to said city:
"Beginning for the same at the most northerly corner of Lot 25-
Section "D", "WHEEL OF FORTUNE" as shown on a plat thereof re-
corded among the Land Records of Montgomery County, Maryland, in
Plat Book 26, Plat 1627; and running thence with the rear or easterly
lines of Lots 25 and 24
(1) S 07°57'20" E, 955.30 feet; thence
(2) S 47°42'40" W, 478.50 feet; thence running with the east line
of the 30' right-of-way as shown on said plat
(3) S 03°13'00" W, 375 feet more or less to intersect the north
line of "Relocated Montrose Road" as shown on Maryland State
Roads Commission Plat #13356; thence running in, through, over
and across the "Wheel of Fortune" Subdivision and with the north
right-of-way line of Montrose Road, the northeasterly right-of-way
line of RAMP "D" and the easterly right-of-way line of Washington
National Pike as shown on the aforementioned Maryland State
Roads Commission Plat #13356 and on Plats 13354 and 13353
(4) Northwesterly approximately 2,700 feet to intersect the south
line of a 40' road which runs through Lots 45 and 46, Block "C",
"Wheel of Fortune" as shown on a plat recorded among the land
records of Montgomery County in Plat Book 26, Plat 1605; thence
running with the south line of said 40' road and across Lots 45
and 46
(5) S 55°09'00" E, 298 feet more or less to the east line of Lot
46 thence with said east line
(6) N 26°10'00" E, 21.40 feet to the northwest corner of the C. &
M. S. Dulin tract containing 12.516 acres and recorded among the
aforesaid Land Records in Liber 1600 at Folio 209; thence running
with the northerly lines thereof
(7) S 79°41'00" E, 255 feet; thence
(8) S 88°49'00" E, 400 feet; thence
(9) S 85o17'00" E, 428.92 feet; of the west line of Woodmont Coun-
try, Inc., thence with said west line
(10) S 07°57'20" E, 300 feet more or less to the place of beginning,
containing an area of approximately 47.5 acres of land.
Section 2. That all of the territory hereby annexed to the City
of Rockville and the persons residing thereon, shall, after the effective
date of this resolution be subject to all the laws, ordinances and regulations
of said City.
