2312                               Municipal Charters

charter of the municipal corporation known as the Town of Elkton), be
and the same is hereby enacted to read as follows:

179A. The following described area is hereby annexed to and included
within the boundaries and taxable limits of the municipality known as the
Town of Elkton, viz.:

BEGINNING for the same at a concrete monument found at the
intersection of the northerly side of U. S. Route 40 and westernmost side
of Normira Avenue. Said monument also being at the end of the S 05
degrees 23 minutes 18 seconds W 389.13 foot boundary line of the Town of
Elkton; thence, leaving said monument and binding on the aforesaid
Corporate Town Limit of Elkton, reversely, N 05 degrees 23 minutes 18
seconds E 389.13 feet to a point; thence crossing Normira Avenue N 85
degrees 02 minutes 17 seconds E 50.67 feet to an iron bar found; thence
leaving said iron bar and still continuing along said N 85 degrees 02 min-
utes 17 seconds E line 432.15 feet to a point on the Westerly side of
Washington Avenue; thence, leaving said point and binding on the west-
erly side of Washington Avenue with the arc of a curve to the left, having
a radius of 1780.28 feet and the chord of which is S 03 degrees 50 minutes
00 seconds E 295.02 feet to a point on the northerly side of U.S. Route 40 ;
thence, leaving said point and binding on the northerly side of U.S.
Route 40 with the arc of a curve to the left, having a radius of 5664.58
feet, the chord of which is N 71 degrees 40 minutes 50 seconds E 829.73
feet to a point of tangency; thence, still continuing with said northerly
side of Route 40, N 67 degrees 18 minutes 30 seconds E 1522.20 feet to a
point; thence, leaving said point and crossing Route 40, S 25 degrees 52
minutes 10 seconds E 150.23 feet to a point on the southerly side of U.S.
Route 40; thence, leaving said point and binding on the division lines of
Guisseppi Ciampoli (see W.E.B. 25/117), Lawrence J. Kieffer (W.A.S.
29/372), and others, S 12 degrees 43 minutes 00 seconds E 4095.42 feet
to a point in the division line between Chelmor L. Clugston (see W.A.S.
88/136) and the herein described tract; thence, leaving said point and
binding on the aforesaid division line N 75 degrees 59 minutes 20 seconds
E 210.29 feet to a fence corner post found at the northeast corner of the
Clugston Lands; thence, leaving said post and binding on the division
line between Chelmor Clugston and W. Andrew Seth (see W.A.S. 203/148)
S 28 degrees 03 minutes 20 seconds E 1217.12 feet to the northerly side of
the Frenchtown-Glasgow Road; thence, binding on the northerly side of
the aforesaid road the following four (4) courses and distances: S 72
degrees 10 minutes 50 seconds W 1310.65 feet, S 72 degrees 20 minutes
00 seconds W 1114.57 feet, S 74 degrees 41 minutes 00 seconds W 965.42
feet and S 76 degrees 13 minutes 50 seconds W 1543.43 feet to a point at
the beginning of a new line of division through the lands of Horatio B.
Crowgey (see C.S.P. 3/575); thence, leaving said point and binding on
said new line of division N 16 degrees 11 minutes 40 seconds W 1215.43
feet to a point in the division line between Crowgey and the lands of Holly
Hall Corp. (see H.W.L. 16/348); thence, leaving said point and binding on
said division line and an old wooden fence line N 73 degrees 17 minutes
40 seconds E 751.84 feet to a point at the beginning of the division line
between Holly Hall Corp. and the lands of Phineas C. Van Sant (see
W.A.S. 84/198); thence, leaving said point and binding on said division
line N 01 degrees 02 minutes 10 seconds W 475.37 feet to an iron bar
found; thence, leaving said iron bar and still continuing along said N 01
degrees 02 minutes 10 seconds W line 1850.44 (total of 2325.81 feet) to an
iron bar found at the beginning of the division line between Holly Hall
Corp. and the lands of Robert H. Boulden (see W.A.S. 128/287); thence,
