Section 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1970 Supplement to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Calvert County, (being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Calvert County and edited by W. Porter Elling-
ton, be and the same is hereby legalized. Said Code and Supplement
shall contain all Public Local Laws relating to Calvert County in ef-
fect after the 1970 Regular Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, and shall contain the charters of the several municipal
corporations within Calvert County as in effect on July 1, 1970.
The Code and Supplement shall be deemed and taken in all the
Courts of the State and by all Justices of the Peace and Trial
Magistrates of the State and by all other public officials of the State
and of any political subdivision thereof to be evidence of the Pub-
lic Local Laws of Calvert County in existence at the time of com-
pilation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That any future supplements
to this Code are similarly legalized and effective, to contain changes
in the public local laws and municipal charters in Calvert County
as of the time of publication.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County
Commissioners of Calvert County be and it is hereby authorized and
directed to make an appropriation to provide for the publication
of said Supplement and of annual supplements thereto; and it
further is authorized to provide for the sale and distribution of
said Code and of any supplements thereto.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take ef-
fect July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51(c)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County Treas-
urers," to change the salaries of the County Treasurer and Deputy
Treasurer of Calvert County AND TO CHANGE THE TIMES
FOR PAYMENT OF THE TREASURER'S ALLOWANCE FOR
CLERICAL HELP.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51(c) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Supplement), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County
Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
