of this State, or identical with, standards approved by any national
organization or association organized or conducted in whole or in
part for the purpose of developing standards for the protection
of the life or safety of employees, the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry may adopt such standards, rules or regulations by refer-
ence, without setting forth the provisions of such standards, rules
or regulations, provided copies of such standards, rules or regula-
tions so adopted by reference are filed in accordance with this sub-
section. In case the Commissioner of Labor and Industry adopts
standards, rules, or regulations by reference, he shall keep on file in
his office at least three copies thereof, available for public use, in-
spection, and examination. Notwithstanding the provisions of Sec-
tion 36, regarding publication of rules and regulations or amend-
ments thereof, the standards adopted by reference need not be pub-
lished, but the Commissioner of Labor and Industry shall furnish a
copy to the [office of every State's attorney in this State, to be kept
reasonably available for public inspection.] libraries of the respec-
tive circuit courts of the several counties and to the Supreme Bench
of Baltimore City.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 569
(Senate Bill 793)

AN ACT to add new Sections 164A through 164E to Article 66C
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume),
title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish," to follow immediately after Section 164 thereof and to be
under the new subheading "St. Mary's River Wild Fowl Sanctu-
ary," to set up a wild fowl sanctuary on a certain part of the
St. Mary's River to be under the control and supervision of the
Department of Natural Resources and setting out certain prohibi-
tions, penalties and other provisions related thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 164A through 164E be and they are hereby added
to Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish," to follow immediately after Section 164 thereof
and to be under the new subheading "St. Mary's River Wild Fowl
Sanctuary," and all to read as follows:

ST. MARTS RIVER WILD FOWL SANCTUARY
164A.
For the purpose of this subheading
all the part of the St. Mary's

River lying within the following lines shall be known as the "St.

Mary's River Wild Fowl Sanctuary" hereinafter referred to as the
Sanctuary.
