HAVE HIS PRINCIPAL PLACE OF RESIDENCY OUTSIDE
THE BOUNDARIES OF ALLEGANY COUNTY. THE COMMIT-
TEE SHALL MEET WITH THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS AT
LEAST ONCE EVERY FOUR MONTHS AND SHALL FREELY
EXCHANGE ITS IDEAS AND GIVE ADVICE AND SUGGES-
TIONS RELATING TO THE AFFAIRS OF THE MEMORIAL
HOSPITAL IN RELATION TO THE COMMUNITY WHICH THE
HOSPITAL SERVES.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 14(7) (f)
of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), title "Pensions", subtitle "In General"; and to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 198 (7) (f) of Article 77 of the
said Code (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education",
subtitle "Chapter 17: Teachers' Retirement System"; and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 31A (f) of Article 88B
of the said Code (1969 Replacement Volume) title "State Police",
subtitle "Pensions"; amending the laws relating to the payment
of supplementary pensions to certain retired members of the vari-
ous State pension systems.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 14(7) (f) of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Pensions", subtitle "In General",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
14.
(7) (f) Provided that such beneficiary or member, excepting any
person who may retire for reasons of disability, who [receives] is
eligible to receive benefits from the Federal Old Age and Survivors'
Insurance System shall have any supplemental payment for which
said beneficiary is eligible, under this subtitle, reduced by an amount
equal to the benefit [received] the beneficiary or member is entitled
to receive from the Federal Old Age and Survivors' System. Such
reduction, however, shall not be greater than the total amount of the
supplemental payment for which said beneficiary is eligible.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 198(7)(f) of
Article 77 of said Code (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public
Education", subtitle "Chapter 17: Teachers' Retirement System", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
