provisions of this part, including rules and regulations concerning
the condition of the vehicle which is used for giving instruction.
§ 6-507. Instructors.
(a) No person shall be employed by a licensee as a driving
instructor, nor shall any person give instructions for a fee in the
operation of motor vehicles unless he is the holder of a driver's
license and an instructor's certificate issued by the commissioner. The
certificate shall be issued only upon payment to the Commissioner
of a fee of $5.00 and shall be valid one year from the date of its issue.
The annual fee for the renewal thereof shall be $5.00. The certificate
shall be issued only to persons of good reputation and moral character.
(b) The commissioner or any employee of the department, depu-
tized by him, may suspend or revoke an instructor's certificate for any
of the following causes:
(1) Expiration, suspension or revocation of the operator's license
of the instructor;
(2) The instructor has failed to comply with the rules and regula-
tions prescribed by the commissioner;
(3) The instructor has been convicted of a crime of moral
turpitude.

Financial Responsibility and Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund
Part I—Administration of Parts I-V
§ 7-101. Commissioner to administer parts I-V.
(a) The commissioner shall administer and enforce the provi-
sions of parts I through V of this subtitle and may make rules and
regulations necessary for their administration.
(b) The commissioner shall receive and consider any pertinent
information upon request of persons aggrieved by his orders or acts
under any of the provisions of parts I-V.
(c) The commissioner shall prescribe and provide suitable forms
requisite or deemed necessary for the purposes of parts I-V.
Part II—Security Following Accident
§ 7-201. Application of part II.
The provisions of this subtitle, requiring deposit of security and
suspensions for failure to deposit security, subject to certain exemp-
tions, shall apply to the driver and owner of any vehicle of a type sub-
ject to registration under the motor-vehicle laws of this State which
is in any manner involved in an accident within this State, which
accident has resulted in bodily injury to or death of any person or
damage to the property of any one person in excess of $100.
