(2) A trailer or a semitrailer whose chassis and exterior shell is
designed and constructed for use as a house trailer, as defined in
paragraph (1), but which is used instead permanently or temporarily
for the advertising, sales, display, or promotion of merchandise or
services, or for any other commercial purpose except the transporta-
tion of property for hire or the transportation of property for dis-
tribution by a private carrier.

§ 1-134. Identifying number.

Identifying number means the numbers, and letters if any, on a
vehicle designated by the department for the purpose of identifying
the vehicle.

§ 1-135. Immediate family.

Immediate family does not include persons other than a spouse,
son, daughter, mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grand-
father, son-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, or daughter-in-law.

§ 1-136. Implement of husbandry.

Implement of husbandry means every vehicle designed and
adapted exclusively for agricultural, horticultural, or livestock rais-
ing operations or for lifting or carrying an implement of husbandry,
and in either case not subject to registration if used upon the high-
ways.

§ 1-137. Inflammable liquid.

Inflammable liquid means any liquid which has a flash point of
70° F., or less, as determined by a tagliabue or equivalent closed-
cup test device.

§ 1-138. Intersection.

Intersection means (1) the area embraced within the prolongation
or connection of the lateral curb lines or if none, then the lateral
boundary lines of the roadways of two highways which join one
another at{ or approximately at, right angles, or the area within
which vehicles traveling upon different highways joining at any
other angle may come in conflict; and

(2) Where a highway includes two roadways 30 feet or more
apart, every crossing of each roadway of the divided highway by
an intersecting highway shall be regarded as a separate intersection.
If the intersecting highway also includes two roadways 30 feet or
more apart, every crossing of two roadways of such highways shall
be regarded as a separate intersection.

§ 1-139. Laned roadway.

Laned roadway means a roadway which is divided into two or
more clearly marked lanes for vehicular traffic.

§ 1-140. License to operate a motor vehicle.

License to operate a motor vehicle means any operator's, motor-
cycle operator's, or chauffeur's license or any other license or permit
to operate a motor vehicle issued under the laws of this State includ-
