of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume),
title "Health," subtitle "Osteopathy," to follow immediately after
Section 474(b) thereof, and to read as follows:

474 (c).

(1)  Every person holding a license to practice Osteopathy in the
State of Maryland is required to register and pay a renewal fee
as in this section provided. The first registration is required before
October 1, 1970, and succeeding registrations are required annually
on or before October 1st of each year. Each registration shall in-
clude the person's name, license number, college from which he
graduated, date of graduation, office address and whether or not he
is in active practice. Notice shall be sent by regular mail to all li-
cense holders who are in active practice by the Board of Osteopathic
Examiners at least thirty days prior to October 1st of each year
advising of the necessity of registration and the payment of a re-
newal fee of $5.00.

(2)   The failure to renew a license, as herein provided, shall op-
erate as a suspension of the rights and privileges granted by the
issuance of the license. A license suspended by a failure to pay an
annual fee may be reinstated by the Board upon the payment to the
Board of all fees that would have been paid had the license holder
maintained his license in good standing; plus a special reinstatement
fee of $25.00.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 13
(Senate Bill 202)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40(1)
of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replace-
ment Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and
Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney," to provide for an
expense allowance for the State's Attorney of Garrett County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40(1) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "At-
torneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

40.

(1) In Garrett County (1) the State's Attorney's salary is seven
thousand dollars ($7,000). (2) The State's Attorney's allowance
