employer must serve upon the employer's insurance carrier and upon
the Commission written notice naming the persons to be covered
and no such proprietor or partner shall be deemed an employee
within this article until such notice has been served as aforesaid.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 11
(Senate Bill 170)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9(c) of
Article 88C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), REPLACEMENT VOLUME), title "State Planning,"
amending the state planning laws of this State in order to make
certain corrections in the language thereof.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9(c) of Article 88C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Supplement), REPLACEMENT VOLUME), title "State Plan-
ning," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(c) The Department of State Planning shall distribute copies of its
annual report to the members of the General Assembly, to the heads
of all State departments and all local, regional and metropolitan
planning agencies in the State, and upon request, to interested federal
agencies. The special reports of the Department of State Planning
shall be distributed in the same manner as the annual report unless
the Governor directs otherwise. The [Departments] Department of
State Planning shall make copies of special and annual reports
available for general distribution or sale.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 12
(Senate Bill 190)
AN ACT to add new Section 474(c) to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health,"
subtitle "Osteopathy," to follow immediately after Section 474(b)
thereof, to provide an annual registration fee for osteopaths and
suspension for failure to pay the same.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 474(c) be and it is hereby added to Article 43
