are not required to pay the annual filing fee.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 130 (a) (2) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1969 Cumulative Supplement), title "Corporations,"
subtitle "1. Stock Corporations," subheading "Fees, Recording and
Filing with the State Department of Assessments and Taxation,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
130. Recording, filing and other fees.
(a)
(2) For each of the following papers filed but not recorded:
Reservation of a corporate name $5
Original registration of name of a foreign corporation to end
of calendar year $40
Renewal of registration of name of a foreign corporation for
one calendar year $40
Papers in connection with the qualification of a foreign cor-
poration to do intrastate business in this State $40
Annual report of a foreign corporation subject to the jurisdic-
tion of this State (except insurance companies which pay
an annual filing fee of $25 to the Insurance Commissioner,
national banks, building or homestead associations, savings
and loan associations, credit unions, corporations having no
capital stock and charitable benevolent institutions) $40
Annual report of a foreign building or homestead association
savings and loan association or credit union subject to the
jurisdiction of this State $10
Other papers $4
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 452
(Senate Bill 490)
AN ACT to add new Section 149T to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supple-
ment), title "Health," subtitle "Practitioners of Medicine," to
follow immediately after Section 149S thereof, establishing the
power of a minor who has attained the age of 18 years to consent
to medical treatment for a mental or emotional disorder.
