Senate Bill No. 1—By the President:

Subject: MAKING AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION TO THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.

Amendments to Senate Bill No. 1
By the Committee:

Amendment No. 1—In line 5 of the title of the third reading file bill,
delete the period and insert in lieu thereof the following: "for projects or
programs heretofore or hereafter authorized by the General Assembly and
so as not to exceed the total sum of money appropriated by the General
Assembly for any particular project or program.

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 2—On page 1 of the third reader file copy of the bill,
in line 14, after the words "June 30," delete "1969" and insert in lieu
thereof the numerals "1970".

Amendment No. 3—In line 4 of Section 1 on page 2 of the third read-
ing file bill, following the comma after the word "Fund", insert the follow-
ing: "to be used for any project or program heretofore or hereafter
authorized by the General Assembly,".

Amendment No. 4—In line 6, on page 2 of Section 1 of the third
reader file copy of the bill, after the numerals "1970.", insert the follow-
ing: "The Board of Public Works shall not use any part of this appro-
