ORDER

By the Speaker:

Ordered, that the rules adopted by the Maryland House of Delegates at the Regular Legislative Session of 1968, except House rules 93 and 95, be hereby adopted as the rules governing this present House of Delegates during this Special Legislative Session of 1969, this order to remain in effect until changed or modified by the Maryland House of Delegates.

By the Speaker:

Ordered, by the House of Delegates of Maryland that the rules as adopted for the Regular Session of 1969, be amended by the adoption of the following temporary rule to apply to this January 6, 1969 Special Legislative Session only:

"All bills and resolutions introduced into the House of Delegates of Maryland during the Extraordinary Session of January 6, 1969 shall be referred, upon introduction, to the Rules Committee."

By the Speaker:

Ordered, that the Honorable Thomas Hunter Lowe of Talbot County be designated as Majority Floor Leader of the House of Delegates for this Special Legislative Session of 1969 and as, ex-officio, a member of all standing committees of the House, and the Honorable W. Dale Hess of Harford County be designated as Majority Whip of the House.
